America is fed up with the Trump administration. Just two weeks after White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders was asked to leave a restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, another prominent Republican and Donald Trump apologist has been confronted by Americans at a restaurant.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell got the surprise of his life when he exited the Bristol Bar & Grille in Louisville, Kentucky yesterday when he was met by a crowd of protesters. Rather than defend the horrific actions of Trump and the Republican Party, McConnell chose to flee the scene and quickly tried to get away from the protesters as they chanted “vote you out.” One protester can also be heard asking McConnell “What are you doing to get the babies back?” One even called McConnell “turtle head.”
McConnell is one of the most spineless Republicans in Congress, so it’s no surprise that he would choose to run away from concerned Americans. After the protest, the footage below was tweeted out by the Louisville Democratic Socialists of America with the caption “Powerful people like Mitch deserve no peace while they enable the imprisonment of babies in concentration camps.”

McConnell has been getting a lot of backlash from protesters lately thanks to Trump’s inhumane zero tolerance policy at the southern border. Last month, McConnell was greeted by protesters playing audio of migrant children crying while leaving Georgetown University:

It is actually his wife (Elaine Chao, Trump’s Secretary of Transportation — wonder how she got that job) who pushes back at the protesters as McConnell scurries into his car so they can leave.
Considering how Trump and the White House reacted when Huckabee Sanders was peacefully confronted, be prepared for Trump to go off on Twitter and whine about how white people are being discriminated against. Because according to the Trump administration, discrimination is perfectly fine unless it happens to them.
