The ewww factor with Donald Trump’s relationship with his daughter just got creepier. According to a new book, Born Trump, which is a #1 bestseller, when Ivanka Trump decided to try to pursue a modeling career, her father wanted her to get breast implants. “Donald wanted it for her, bad, to the point where he suggested to friends that breast implants might help her along,” the book’s author, Vanity Fair senior reporter Emily Jane Fox, wrote.
According to People magazine, Trump’s sister, Maryanne, was so mortified at the thought of Ivanka going under the knife that she petitioned one of her brother’s friends to talk him out of letting her niece get plastic surgery.
“When his friend confronted him about it, he denied that [Ivanka] was getting implants,” Fox writes. “At the end of the call, he asked, ‘Why not, though?’”
This isn’t the first time Trump has made inappropriate and cringe-worthy comments about his daughter.
Trump and Ivanka appeared on ‘The View’ in 2006 and the former reality show star was asked how he would react if his daughter posed for Playboy magazine. It was a really simple question but his answer got really, really weird.
“It would be really disappointing — not really — but it would depend on what’s inside the magazine,” he said.
“I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure,” he continued as if he couldn’t stop himself. “I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her. Isn’t that terrible? How terrible? Is that terrible?”
And then there was that time (we could do this all day really) that he talked about his daughter’s ass in a 2003 interview with Howard Stern. The former reality show star said that his daughter had “the best body,” and in another interview with the shock-jock, he told Stern that it was okay to call Ivanka a “piece of ass.”
“She’s actually always been very voluptuous,” Trump told Stern. “She’s tall, she’s almost 6 feet tall and she’s been, she’s an amazing beauty.”
In 1997, Ivanka hosted the Miss Teen USA pageant, and Trump asked the then-Miss Universe about his daughter who was 16-years-old at the time: “Don’t you think my daughter’s hot? She’s hot, right?”
Excuse me, but I have to go throw up now, thank you.
