The former CEO of Twitter, Dick Costolo, can now be added to the growing list of executives and officials brilliantly shading Donald Trump.
As reported by The Hill, the President will hold a meeting sometime during the month with entrepreneurs from up-and-coming tech companies and Silicon Valley venture capitalists. When Costolo heard the news, he took to Twitter to forewarn the entrepreneurs and techies on what a meeting with Trump is actually like. Comparing to being waterboarded, which is an extreme form of water torture.
If you don’t get invited to this meeting and want to know what it was like, just drink a bottle of gin and then waterboard yourself. https://t.co/secLdw2Xjp

Yea, after that description, tech professionals should definitely reconsider going. Clearly, you wouldn’t be missing anything at all. The Hill also reported that Trump has a struggling relationship with Silicon Valley tech leaders, especially since his election. One person, in particular, is Tesla’s Elon Musk.
Musk decided to remove himself from several White House advisory councils following Trump’s decision to withdraw from the Paris climate deal.
Am departing presidential councils. Climate change is real. Leaving Paris is not good for America or the world.

Donald Trump is becoming that person no one wants to be around (as if already wasn’t that guy) and as a business man first, losing relationships with tech leaders is not a good look. Poor Trump, he won’t have anything to fall back on once he is impeached. Can we make that happen already?!
