Its becoming more clear that the Trump administration is a swamp full of wicked snakes.
Depending on whether a report from the Washington Post is true or not, Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner attempted to set up a secret and secure back-channel with the Kremlin–initially using Russian diplomacy to sabotage the American government via top secret meetings and cryptic communication systems. If true, this is indeed an act of covert communications espionage.
MSNBC contributor and terrorism analyst Malcom Nance made very serious, but highly reasonable accusations that should cause concern for anyone worried about the viability of a Trump administration.
“If this is true that he wanted covert communications with the Russian using Russian cryptographic systems in the hopes that we didn’t have those things broken, then this is now espionage.”
And if there was any uncertainty on his stance, he ended his statement with:
“This one incident requires Jared Kushner and all of his immediate staff to have their clearances pulled right now and to have the FBI descend on there and to determine whether this is hostile intelligence in the White House one step from the president.”
Sources indicate that former national security advisor Michael Flynn was also in attendance at the meeting in question–which is awfully suspicious.
The Washington Post notes:
“Ambassador Sergei Kislyak reported to his superiors in Moscow that Kushner, son-in-law and confidant to then-President-elect Trump, made the proposal during a meeting on Dec. 1 or 2 at Trump Tower, according to intercepts of Russian communications that were reviewed by U.S. officials.”
As this story continues to develop, it will be interesting to see if Kushner will be stripped of his security clearance or not. Stay tuned…
